Yes, My wife and I have been looking into buying a used Toyota Prius as a second car to replace our 2000 Mazda 626. The problem is that the market for a used Prius is pretty active and they move quick. So we've been on the waiting list for many months now.
We've done some research and test driving of the Honda Insight, Honda Civic Hybrid and the Toyota Prius and the Prius was the most comfortable and I liked the layout of the dash a little better in the Prius, although the Honda Civic felt and handled a little more like a "normal" car. I also thought the Civic has a little 'gutsy' on the acceleration, where the Prius feels underpowered. Although, we wouldn't be buying a Hybrid for it's performance or torque, so I guess that's not that important to us.
I agree with others that the Hybrids are still a little immature in the car market, but with so many on the roads now and with the various manufacturers steadily increasing their Hybrid production, I have no worries about buying one now. The cleanliness and efficiency of these vehicle far outweighs the negatives, IMO.
