Tonight's event starts out at 6:30 with the Soul Liberation Choir - a racially diverse choir that features a "Black Gospel" sound, lead by Sandy Hodges (sister of local Gospel phenom, Robert Robinson)
at 7pm Messiah's Men
Described as Acapella Underground with a unique style of dance and singing from the Africa motherland
7:30 Ryan Daniel and the Spirit of David
Powerful island flava dancehall - inspiring, life changing, relevant
8 pm Joel Campos
8:30 Tonia Hughes
The Twin Cities own - with traditional hymns and a contemporary ministry style
Tonight also features Guest MC Kevin Farmer of Park Avenue's sister north Minneapolis sister church, Sanctuary Covenant.

Soul Lib was the brainchild of a Park Avenue pastor in the 1970's as a means of reaching out into a neighborhood in transition - facing many of the problem rampant yet today in the Central-Powderhorn areas of S. Mpls.
Soul Lib is open to call and it's free. It is open without obligation - whether you are a regular church attender, haven't been in a church since you were a child, or don't know a thing about God's love - we would love to have to on the blacktop at 34th Street and Park Avenue!
