But an adult in a wheel chair is usually handicapped, a normal healthy child riding in a stroller is not. People with handicaps should get special parking but abled bodied adults who want to bring children who are too young to walk at the Fairgrounds should not, IMHO. You are making a choice to bring your baby and all the gear he needs with you...
You know, I don't want to park more than a fifteen minute park from the Fairgrounds either but being an healthy adult who can walk, I will if need be. And I will lug any extra gear I might want to bring with too. You and your family can do the same I would think.
In fact, I am working as a volunteer at the Fair both Saturdays and I will need to lug quite a bit of gear with me. I don't expect to be treated any differently than anyone else who doesn't have special needs...and I don't think you have special needs just because you want to bring a less than one year old kid to the Fair.
Why bring a child than young anyway? It will be busy, probably hot, noisy, and certainly a baby that young won't be able to enjoy or remember the Fair. Why not get a babysitter for the day and have fun alone with your spouse? That solves the entire issue.
