Hennepin County Moves to Ban Guns From its Buildings Bill McAuliffe, Star Tribune (6-11-2003)
Criticizing the Minnesota Legislature and welcoming a court fight, the Hennepin County Board Tuesday voted to ban legally-permitted handguns from its 130 buildings.
The ban would apply to libraries, service centers and the Hennepin County Medical Center, as well as court facilities, where guns were banned by a judge last week.
