About 2-3 of the way down, you'll see the number of millionaires. There was a sharp increase in the past decade til 1999. Then the internet bubble burst and fortunes were lost, but the number of millionaires continues to rise again in the post-bubble world. The number of millionaires on a world-wide scale has increased every year despite the bubble.
And let me tell you, this increase isn't only a result of inheritences.
Yes, the number of billionaires has gone down since 2000, but even then there are more then there were 5 years ago.
For those with the drive, the skills, the education, and a little bit of luck, there's plenty of money to be made.
The problem is, too many people would rather whine and complain and demand their "fair share" than actually do what it takes to actually EARN their share of the wealth. Blah blab blah. Whine whine whine. Cry cry cry.
