"Jeffrey C. Dege"
Heh. As Don Homuth might say, Dege, here's a little whack with the clue-by-four. Any researcher that feels he has to invent a sock puppet like Mary Rosh to defend his "work" in, of all places, internet newsgroups, knows he has got some problems. Beyond that, he knows exactly where those problems lie in his methodology. Explain, if you will, how a fictional supporter would not be quite useful in attempting to keep the discussion away from thin ice. But, of course, once discovered, such dissembling flags the existence of some weakness in the original premise(s).
And, while we're at it, since you think that practice is A-Okay and Just Dandy, one wonders how many similar voices *you* have brought to the mn.newsgroups.
I have my suspicions, particularly some of these dumb-as-a-stick posters who make such a pretense of not grasping the King's English. I just don't buy the act. Never have. But I also never have had proof that would indicate who's doing it.
This has been brought up before, but never flat out denied by you. Just tell us once and for all that you do not post in mn.newsgroups under names other than Dege, would you? No double talk. Just say, "I don't do it."
