Orion Ryder
Everyone makes these decisions, Orion - EVERYONE. NO ONE is immune from economics.
Of course he does, Orion. I asked earlier and I'll ask again, explain to me WHY, in economic terms, he is not bound by the laws of economics. Tell me at what level of income this happens and why.
Obviously you can't so insisting that it is true is just plain wrong.
I'm sorry - but now this is getting to the point of riduculous. It is unfortunate that you just don't have the knowledge to argue the economics.
His decision involves tradeoffs. You just don't like it because you think his tradeoffs are "luxury for luxury" and yours are "necessity and necessity". That is a value judgement and doesn't change the economic fundementals.
No - it does not. If you insist, then show it mathematically. What you have argued is that the individual demand function for the wealthy has a zero slope. Therefore, you must be able to define this mathematically - in other words, show how wealth allows one to violate the donward sloping demand requirement of econometrics.
That's your challenge. Show it mathematically.
You have just argued a kinked demand curve with a zero slope below the kink. That is impossible. But again, I challenge you to show me mathematically that it is possible.
I understand a lot more now than before.
Yes - it helps me immensely. We are done with this thread. I won't argue with you. It's simply unfair to you. You are starting to look very foolish and there is little pleasure on my side embarbutting you further.
