Glad to have you back, Olly, and hope that your rehabilitation goes along well. My late mother-in-law suffered from exactly the same infirmity as do you, and had similar fractures, although not in vertebrae. With rehabilitation, she was able to manage, with buttistance, as apparently you will have, and live as active a life as she wanted. I hope that all goes well, and that your new 'digs'suit your needs. I understand that you have family in boston, so I guess the proximity to them will be a comfort.
As far as the response to Phoebe was concerned, I think it was less of a response to her post than to embellishing and expanding the issue. Phoebe's post really didn't go in that direction. I just wanted to add a bit of historical perspective. But the sad thing is the responses to my post. I am saddened by hoe far liberals will go to mask their hatred of Jews, always masking their anti-Semitism with convoluted logic. Read the responses and you'll see exactly that.
