Until we move to a 100% flat tax rate, whatever that % needs to be with absolutely no deductions and everything that comes in is considered income will we have a fair & balanced system. Everyone gets one tax deduction and that is the amount that the Federal governments has set as the poverty level based on family size.

If you make 100K are a family of four you get one deduction for the poverty level number, which I think right now is around 18K, and then you pay a % on the 82k you got left. That is it, all pay the same percent regardless of how much they made or the source of the income. Now if you are working for wage you don't pay nothin, better yourself and make more, then yeah you will pay more, but on a percentage basis it will always be same same.
